My thoughts about this trip: initially, when I decided to go on this trip, I was a little apprehensive because I was traveling with a group that I didn’t know. In September, we had a Zoom meeting, and that’s when I found out that there were going to be 42 people going on this trip. So I told my goddaughter that had we had this Zoom meeting back in July, I would have probably pulled out of the trip. Wrong answer—this trip was so fantastic. I would recommend it to anybody. The group of people that we were with, the fun that we had, the tours—it was awesome. So if you’re listening to this video, take my advice and book a trip with Overton Travel. Thank you.

We saw lions first thing in the morning—a pack of them, not just one or two, okay, three of them—and they were playing, play-fighting. After that, we saw lions, a male and a female, and guess what, guys? They were doing their thing. It was only three and a half seconds, but… And we saw a cheetah under a tree, chilling with her babies, too. And to top it off, we saw a big old leopard resting. What a day. Overton Travel experiential travel—yes. Two thumbs up, two thumbs up, two thumbs up, yeah!

The Spain trip was TERRIFIC! We visited approx. 5 cities. The local tour guide was excellent., she was so knowledgeable. We got to go to a Bull Fight, Flamenco Dancing & Lessons, a wonderful winery, and a Horse Stable (Farm). Spain is a beautiful country and Lori's trips are very special. The people are fun and interesting in the group. I will go on another trip. Hopefully Vietnam and Italy in 2020.

Lori, your trips are really worth it. The very first time I went on your trip was in Bali, and I was a little nervous and a little scared about being a solo traveler, not knowing anybody. But as the trip went on and you got to know people, you developed a really strong bond—and it’s a bond that I’m never going to forget, because it’s with people I still have brunch with today. So thank you so much for a wonderful and great experience.

Hi, I’m Tanya Pope, and I live in Wilmington, Delaware, and I work in New York City. This is my second trip with Lori this year. I was in Jamaica with her in January, and I’m just finishing up the Dubai trip, which was amazing. I can’t imagine having gotten this much out of a trip. I can’t think of anybody else who could have put together such quality tours and such a great group of people that just gelled. We had a guide who had an encyclopedic knowledge of the Emirates—it was truly wonderful. So now I’m going to get back on my computer and start planning my Black Paris–Black Amsterdam trip for May. Since she’s always had trips going to different locations abroad, and she was having a trip to Dubai—and I always wanted to go to Dubai—I decided to pull the trigger and come. I’ve had such a marvelous, marvelous, marvelous time. It’s a blessing to meet new people and experience the culture, the food, and the beautiful cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. I had the pleasure of being on a trip to Dubai via Overton Travel. The trip was amazing from the beginning to the end. The booking process was a breeze. Lori made herself available for all assistance, including getting your flight done—flying out from wherever you needed to in order to get where you were supposed to be. The arrangements she made—oh my gosh—the hotel we stayed at was amazing. The accommodations were wonderful, and all the people were friendly. We had a good time, and we were given free time. But all of the arranged activities were really appreciated because they kept the group together. We enjoyed each other, enjoyed all of the activities, and learned so much about Dubai—that was a big, big plus. I love to learn and participate in different cultural activities, and we did that. I’m so excited to let you know that this has been an amazing, amazing trip. It is a Portugal–Paris trip. We started in Lisbon, Porto, and Aveiro—three amazing cities with wonderful tours—and we’re now in Paris. This is my favorite part of the trip. We just finished the Black Paris tour and had a wonderful tour guide. Amazing food—we went to the African market and saw so many historical Black history monuments dedicated to so many people. The tour was just amazing, and I just can’t stop raving about it. Delicious food—we topped it off at a great African restaurant.

I just have to say that in Dubai, traveling with Lori, we had a wonderful time. The trip to Dubai was wonderful, and everything was run on point. We didn’t have to worry about anything.
