Full Package and Land Only Package

What packages do you offer?

We have 4 types of packages:

●      Land Only- Single Occupancy

●      Land Only- Double Occupancy

●      Full Package - Single Occupancy

●      Full Package - Double Occupancy

What is the difference between the Full-Package and the Land-Only Package?

●      The Full Package includes international flights in Economy Seats.

●      The Land Only Package does not include your international flights and transfers. You need to book it separately. Overton Travel can assist you with these arrangements upon request.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of booking the Full-Package?

Pros:

●      Includes international flights, so everything is handled in one booking.

●      Less hassle since you don’t have to worry about booking your flights.

●      Airport transfers are already covered.

Cons:

●      You may have less flexibility in choosing specific flights or airlines.

●      Flights are in economy seats, which may not be ideal if you prefer other seating options.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of booking the Land Only Package?

Pros:

●      More flexibility to choose your own flights, airlines, and seating preferences.

●      Useful if you want to use frequent flyer miles or find your own deals.

 

Cons:

●      International flights are not included, so you’ll need to book them separately.

●      It requires extra effort to coordinate flight times with the rest of your travel plans.

●      If you're not on the same flight as the group, you'll need to arrange your own airport transfers.

I have a Land-Only Package. Can you help me arrange my airport transfer?

Absolutely! If you have a Land Only Package, you need to send us your flight details once you have them, and we’ll help arrange your airport transfer.

I accidentally booked the wrong package. How can I change it?

Just contact us through email at [email protected] or by phone at (914) 898-5600 so we can make the necessary changes.

Will you provide information about the planned activities at the destination?

We’ll schedule a Zoom meeting to help everyone prepare for the trip. During this session, we’ll go over key travel details, arrival procedures, hotel transfers, tours, and more.

 

We’ll also be providing the group with a comprehensive travel guide to help you feel fully prepared and at ease.

Is there a trip leader or escort who will help guide us through transfers, tours, and other details during the trip?

We'll assign a dedicated Travel Ambassador who will accompany the group and assist along the way to ensure everything runs smoothly.

How do I access my booking?

Each traveler will have a unique magic link that will be generated and emailed upon registration. You can use the magic link to review your trip details, make payments, and fulfill any pending tasks simultaneously

I no longer have access to the email address I used upon registration and can’t find my magic link. What do I do?

No problem! Just reach out to us via email at [email protected] or give us a call at (914) 898-5600. We’ll update your information and resend your magic link right away!

The trip is already sold out, can you inform me of any cancellations?

Absolutely! If the trip is currently sold out, you can email us at [email protected] to be added to the waitlist. Should a spot become available due to a cancellation, we’ll be sure to reach out to you right away.

Payments

Is there a payment plan for the trip?

Yes! You can find the payment plan on the trip page's highlight page under “Price & Payment Plan.

When is the final payment due?

Final payments are typically due 90–120 days before your trip's departure date, depending on the specific itinerary. For the exact deadline, please check the Payment Schedule located under the “Price” section of the trip page.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit card payments and Zelle transfers for your convenience. You may also mail a check to the following address:

How do I make my payments?

Using your magic link, you can pay by visiting your trip highlight page and clicking “Price” on the left panel.

Do you take payments over the phone?

We do not accept payments via telephone.

Are payments taken automatically from my credit card?

At this time, Overton Travel does not authorize automatic payments.

Will there be a fee if full payments are not made by the due date?

If full payment is not received by the final payment date on your invoice, a late payment fee of $250 per person will be charged. This fee will be automatically added to your reservation the day after the final payment date.

Flights

Can I use my miles or points to book the flights?

If you want to use your miles or points for booking flights, you need to select the Land Only Package and book your flights directly with the airline.

What airline are we flying?

The airline may vary depending on the trip. You can check the highlights page under “Flight Information” to find out which airline is assigned to your trip.

What time do I need to be at the airport?

It is recommended to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your departure time for international flights.

I don't live in New York. Can I depart from a different City?

Absolutely! If you're located outside of New York, you have two options:

 

Land Only Package: You may book the Land Only Package and arrange your own international flights to match the group’s arrival and departure times at the destination.

Full Package + Domestic Flight: You may also choose the Full Package (which includes international flights from JFK) and simply book a separate domestic flight from your home city to New York to meet the group at JFK before departure.

What is the baggage allowance?

The baggage allowance will vary by airline. Once you receive your flight documents from us, you can check the baggage allowance on the airline’s website.

Can I preselect my seats?

Since this is a group booking, some airlines may not allow advance seat selections, and seats are typically assigned 24 to 48 hours before departure. However, some airlines do allow seat selection in advance for an additional fee.

We encourage you to indicate your seat preference, and we’ll do our best to accommodate it. Once you receive your flight documents, you can also visit the airline’s website to manage your booking and check if seat selection is available at that time.

I would like to upgrade my seats.

Feel free to send all upgrade requests to us at [email protected], and we’ll provide you with a quote and a secure payment link.

If you decide to move forward with the upgrade, we’ll need to switch your reservation from Full Package to Land Only and adjust your balance accordingly.

How can I request wheelchair assistance at the airport?

You can easily request wheelchair assistance by indicating it on your registration form and we’ll be happy to arrange it for you.

Passport/Visa

How long does my passport need to be valid?

Passports should be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your trip return date.

Why do I have to provide a copy of my passport when I’ve already submitted my passport information in the form?

As part of the check-in process, the hotel will need photocopies of the guests' passports. You can simply take a photo of the first page and attach it to your booking. Or email it to us and will upload it for you.

Do I need a visa for the trip?

Visa requirements will vary by country.

What is Overton Travel's role in the visa process for passengers?

It’s the passenger's responsibility to complete their visa. We at Overton Travel will provide you with the resources and information you need, but we can’t handle the completion of the visa or other entry documents for you.

Immunizations

Do I need vaccines to go on the trip?

Immunization requirements depend on the destination. You can visit the CDC website at https://www.cdc.gov/ to see the recommended vaccines for each country. We also suggest consulting your doctor to address your specific medical needs.

Final Documents

When will I receive my airline tickets and final documents?

Your tickets and final trip documents are usually emailed to you about 30 days before your departure.

Group Size

How many people will be on the trip?

Each trip will vary depending on the number of registrations. The typical group size is 10–30 people.

What are the pros and cons of booking as a group?

Group bookings can be a great option, but it’s good to keep these factors in mind!

Pros:

●      Cost savings: Group rates can often be lower, giving you a better deal on flights, hotels, and activities.

●      Convenience: Everything is organized for you, from flights to accommodations, making the trip easier to plan.

●      Shared experiences: You’ll be traveling with others, which can make for a fun and social trip, especially if you're with friends or family.

Cons:

●      Less flexibility: You might not have as much control over flight times, accommodations, or activities since these are arranged for the entire group.

●      Limited seat selection: Some airlines may not allow seat selections in advance as the group gets booked together.

●      Different travel styles: If you're traveling with people you don't know well, their preferences and pace might not match yours.

Roommate

Could you help me find a roommate?

We will make every effort to pair you with a roommate. However, Overton Travel cannot guarantee a roommate, as this will depend on the number of registrations.

I registered for Double Occupancy, but I still don’t have a roommate. What should I do?

If you can’t find a roommate, we’ll need to switch you to Single Occupancy.

Travel Insurance

Do you require travelers to purchase travel insurance?

We encourage travelers to purchase travel insurance. It is important because it can help cover unexpected events like trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage. It gives you peace of mind, knowing that you’re protected against financial losses and can focus on enjoying your trip.

How can I purchase Travel Insurance?

You can purchase travel protection either through the supplier Overton Travel uses or from any other provider you prefer.

We partner with Travel Safe Insurance.

Cancellation Policy

What is your cancellation policy?

●      The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

●      Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

o   Cancellations submitted on or before [date varies by trip] will be refunded the amount paid less the deposit and a $100 administration fee.

o   Cancellations submitted after [date varies by trip] will forfeit all payments made and no refund will be provided.

Itinerary

What is the itinerary for the trip?

You can find the itinerary on the trip’s highlight page.

Are we allowed to explore other places during our free time?

Yes, you're welcome to explore other places during your free time! Just be mindful of the schedule so you're back in time for any group activities or departures.

Hotel

What hotels will we stay in during the trip?

You can find the hotel information on the trip’s highlight page.

I am arriving a day before the group. How can I book extra nights at the hotel?

If you’re arriving before the group, we can assist with booking extra nights at the hotel for you. Simply let us know your intended arrival date, and we’ll request the hotel rates for those additional nights. Once you confirm, we’ll send you a secure payment link to complete your booking.

Alternatively, you may also choose to contact the hotel directly to make your own arrangements.

I am arriving a few hours before the group. Do I have to wait for the check-in time?

You should be able to check in as long as your room is ready, so there’s no need to wait for the group.

Do I need hotel confirmation to check in?

You don’t need hotel confirmation. Just give them your name, and you’ll be all set!

Dietary Requirements

Are you able to accommodate people with different dietary needs?

Yes! Please be sure to indicate your specific dietary needs on your registration form.
